Gazeta podaje, że swoje poparcie w tej sprawie deklaruje burmistrz Maciej Ostrowski, senator Stanisław Bisztyga, poseł Marek Łatas i wielu sympatyków sportów motorowych. Koszty budowy toru wraz z infrastrukturą szacowany jest na kilkadziesiąt milionów złotych.
Druga część spotkania w ramach jubileuszu 30 lecia kartingu w Myślenicach odbyła się na parkingu przy hali sportowej na Zarabiu. Na specjalnie na tą okazję stworzonym torze, swoje możliwości prezentował Stanisław Skałka na przeszło trzydziestoletnim gokarcie, a także jego syn i zawodnicy z Tarnowa.
